Welcome to my Facebook commentary page! Here, I have the chance to reflect on my ability to connect with my blog readers through a different means of social media. Keep reading to explore what kind of feedback I got from my Facebook posts, how many viewers I had, and what posts were the most interesting (or completely boring)!
This little snippet shows up on the side of my Facebook page. It shows me the status of my followers, and how many people I reach each week. It is a helpful way to track feedback.

This was one of my first posts on my page. Although it really aligns with the content of my blog, it only reached two people. This may be because the post was new, or because my readers did not yet have the opportunity to read my blog, which may entice them to read my posts. Since taking this screenshot, I have not had anymore views or feedback on it, most likely because it requires readers to scroll down pretty far, but it also may not be quite entertaining enough to earn that view.

In contrast, this is one of my most popular posts, in terms of views. This post reached 23 people, and in comparison to the post above, this is a significant increase in viewership. I think this post was successful because it was a video, which most people prefer to view, rather than articles, and the title was more attention grabbing. I also think it had something to do with the first few second of the video, which displayed an image of cookies baking in the oven (because who isn't going to watch a cookie video).

This post did relatively well. It, again, featured a video of food. Food and recipes videos are a very popular post type that circulates Facebook nowadays, so it is not surprising to me that this post was successful. It also described how to make a healthy chocolate cake, which is pretty worth of attention!

This post was by far my most popular. I received 3 likes on this post, but also reached 44 people! This post was probably so successful because it was a video, and a humourous one at that, but also because it featured the cast of Friends. I think most people who saw this post did not immediately say "Oh, look, it's another no sugar post", but rather, "Hey! A really great T.V. show". Basically, I think I have the cast, crew, and production of Bright/Kauffman/Cane productions to thank for the feedback I aquired on this post.

Due to the similar posting time and similar format of the post, I am surprised that this post did not get as much feedback as the one pictured above. It features a very popular 90's show, and surrounds a relatable food concept- dieting! Perhaps, I posted this one too soon after the other one, and I thought the success would follow. Lesson learned.

This post is different from the others featured because it is a link to my blog. I had thought that these posts would be the most popular, but it turns out, overall, they're the least. I guess I did not gather as many readers as I thought I did. This may be due to their disinterest in my facebook posts, or the possibility that I did not post enough.

To my dismay, this blog link was even less successful than the one featured above. I would have thought that, at least, my last post would acquire more feedback than my first post. At this point, it would be very difficult to receive more feedback, as it was posted more than 10 days ago, but I guess I should have read 9 Facebook Marketing Strategies to Build Super Fans (Links to an external site, before starting my Facebook posts! Whoops!

I think this post was also successful because I wrote more about how personal it was to me in the status bar, but it also featured a real life story of how my lifestyle changes can be victorious, and easy! Although it still isn't as much feedback as I would have liked, I still can appreciate the increase in reached readers, in comparison to some of my other posts. Hopefully, my future posts will continue to gain this much attention!
