The changes on this blog were primarily cosmetic, and pretty significant. The first noticeable change is the title. The title changes from "How it All Started", which was kind of boring, to "Freshman 15?". I think this phrase is more eye catching because it is something that college students hear pretty often. In comparison with my final draft, the color of the text changed to a solid gray, the number of pictures decreased, the the overall flow of the post is better, due to these changes. I believe that it looks much better this way, and it is all thanks to my readers! I had several comments about the confusing text boxes and pictures, so I made changes to make my readers happier. The only text that changed in this post was the last paragraph. I changed it to a statement about my health, rather than a "Hey, check out what is in store!" to make sound less cliche. I am happy with the final draft of this post :)
Niche Blog Post 2- Draft
The second post also changed in mostly cosmetic ways, in addition to a title change. The title changed from "Am I Really Doing This?" to "Sugar, and Flour, and Fat, Oh My!" for humor, but also to grab the reader's attention. Other than that, the colors of the post changed to only blue and the pictures, once again, decreased. After completing these two posts, and making very similar changes to both, I was able to construct my third by mirroring these revisions. Again, I really like how the completed version of this post looks, compared to the draft, pictured above. The story did not change, but I did add a few new hyperlinks, including a recipe to my go-to breakfast!
Niche Blog Post 3- Draft
This is the only picture of my blog post, because a) I forgot to take a screenshot of before I made minor changes and b) the changes, like I said, were minor. The only changes I made to the post were changing the placement of the picture of chocolate cake, and adding hyperlinks. This was suggested by the readers to help the flow of the post. Basically, I learned that I am not that great at making things flow, but I am glad that I had the chance to get peer feedback to enhance my posts :)
